About Virginia Home Care Partners

Our Mission

Love People

Journey Together

Make a Difference!

At Virginia Home Care Partners, we recognize it is a privilege to be given the opportunity to partner in your living and be invited into your home. Through our partnership we provide professional, compassionate, and individualized home care, giving clients and their loved one’s peace of mind that they can remain safe and independent with dignity at home. We dedicate ourselves to your valued trust.  Our partnership with you is built around this mission. We have served our community with partnerships since 2013.

OUR PARTNERSHIP IS

NO CONTRACT

Our Client Partnership Service Agreement is not a contract. This means service can be paused or ended with seven days’ notice. There is no minimum number of hours per week.

When my husband and I found we needed some additional care for his mother, we contacted VHCP. The staff there has been incredible. They guided us through the entire process. They have been reliable which I know from past experiences is rare! The CNAs not only see to her personal care but go the extra mile to entertain her while they are there. We highly recommend their business. Melody

FLEXIBILITY

Our Client Partners define their need for service and enjoy flexible hours and schedules. Service can be established with as little as four-hour shifts, to ensure a Client Partner is comfortable with being served. Short term care may be required for caregiver relief or in-home recovery from an illness or surgery. No matter the need, we take pleasure in coming alongside our Client Partners in their journey.

The flexibility of your hours is what first brought us to you! As my husband’s needs change, I know I can work with you to add or change his schedule. Sharon

Virginia Home Care Partners is distinguished from other services by flexibility, availability as well as Care Partners. Your company is amazing. Ann

Care 24 hours/7 days a week

Care Provided 24/7. Even four hours of service can make a difference in improving the quality of life, Client Partner safe in the shower or being on a companion, attending an appointment or checking in to ensure a meal is prepared and provide medication reminders. Overnight In-Home On-call shifts are a cost-effective way to have a Care Partner in the home and available to attend to any needs that occur during the night.

I just wanted to say “Thank You” for providing care for my dad while we were away! He was well taken care of and each companion was a good fit for him. So glad to be working with your agency. F.M.

PARTNERSHIP – THE KEY TO COMPASSIONATE, QUALITY CARE YOU CAN TRUST

Karen Koudelka - Owner and Administrator

Karen Koudelka - Owner and Administrator

Born in Bristow, OK but raised in Houston, TX, Karen proudly claims Texan roots but calls Virginia home. Karen started her career in the banking industry, served as an assistant vice president, before leaving banking to begin a family and travel the United States as an Air Force Spouse.

Karen spent seven years homeschooling her four children, as they experienced various relocations, volunteering, teaching, and organizing events. Some of her fondest memories are those years of adventure together as a family.

Karen’s faith is essential to her and informs all she does. She actively participates in Lifepoint Church and serves the community through volunteer opportunities in the Fredericksburg area. She was a founding board member of the non-profit, Global Ministry Partners and served for three years. Their first partnership, Mayuge Christian Education Center, gave her a love for the girls in the village of Mayuge, Uganda, and inspired her to travel out of the U.S. for the first time to visit Africa in 2021.

Karen loves nature, sunshine, beaches, mountains, and just about anything outside – kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, photography – just to mention a few.

WE EMBRACE OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH PARTNERSHIP

We embrace opportunities to support our Community Partners – many are non-profits who serve seniors and those with disabilities.

We are a member of Partners in Aging, a non-profit comprised of local businesses and non-profits who all serve and support seniors and individuals with disabilities.  We contribute to community events, volunteering and providing support services with coordination of care.  An important aspect of our partnerships is to stay connected with community resources and enrich the care clients have access to.  Learn more at http://www.partnersinaging.org/about_us/

Senior Visitors is a non-profit we invest in with our support and volunteer relationships. “The program matches socially isolated senior citizens with trained volunteers who provide weekly, home-based visits.” It is a vital offering to seniors in our community and near to our hearts for the impact it makes on seniors’ lives.  For more information visit them at https://www.mhafred.org/senior-visitors/
